Insta360 GO tear down

Since it was release, I wanted to tear it down to place it on my tinywhoop. Well Nick from drone sports Canada drop his Go into salt water for 24h. I told him to send it over so I could have look at it.

    Do you have a build list or stl file for the USB gizmo you showed on your you tube video?
    Thank you again for this tear down. I am really tempted to buy the camera to take apart and also mount in a water proof small Flashlight case to make a rotationally stable underwater camera sort of like a “Spydro” see:https://getspydro.com
    By doing so, I would also be able to make the battery MUCH larger and integrate a heat sink that would dissipate heat well. I am going to buy another GO pro to be sure as it is a better camera.     hey man! That USB dongle does not work. I am missing one vital information that needs reverse engineering. There is a voltage or signal that trigger the GO to be detected by computer. I have ordered some parts for my whoop and will assemble and test further. I also have things I did not show anyone. Will make video. Thanks for sharing the Spydro camera. Really nice. Once I get my whoop done, I will also confirm we can get the full stabilization once the lens is not placed like the original placement. Vital for our drone and flashlight design. I would totally understand why this would be cool for the flashlight style. I also ran out of batterie before memory on the GO while using it for paddle boarding. Less then 40min of paddle board and no more batterie. Anyway will keep you guys posted on the naked GO. btw have you tested the GO underwater in dark environment? Would could start recording out of water, dive few seconds and come back up.

    Amazing teardown video, the ribbon from the lens to the circuitboard looks huge which is fantastic. Can you see what storage is being used at all? do you think there would be a possibility to increase this?
