Embedded Light Switch

    • 3D printing

I bought a set of outdoor lights and it came with a RF remote.

The problem is that I didn’t have a place to put the remote and lose it. I initially wanted to make a 3D printed enclosure next to the switch. I then had a even better idea. Let’s take it apart and embedded into the wall plate gang!

I 3D printed this part that hold the PCB, coin cell and also added the spare fuse holder. This is the fuse for the outdoor light receiver.

I close look at the fuse holder and the coin cell.

They are slightly recess which is not a big deal but does impact the user experience UX. I need to push my finger in each time I use it.
