Those motor need a good gearbox. They spin really fast. 2560kv x 22.2V = 56832 rpm!!! V.S. my motor at 350kv * 22.2V = 7770 rpm.

I have a 4:1 ration with my belt. This mean
56832/4 = 14208 rpm 7770/4 = 1942 rpm

Finding a gear box is hard and making one is harder!
Keep it simple!

Hey man great work I was looking for something like this! do you have any instructions or the parts you used? I want to try build one to carry me 70kg at least but, I have no idea how powerful the motor must be, and the battery, I'll be using two motors in the back 2 wheels separately, and if possible throttle

Can you help? thanks!

Jerome, did this project strictly measure acceleration or could it measure other athletic components such as force and stress readings. I'm fascinated by this project and would like to learn more about its workings and possible other applications for it. Plase feel free to contact me through my email.

Hey Tomek,

No I did not try the fan since I did not get problem with heating. I think you should pull the air out of the motor instead of pushing in. Is your motor really heating up?

Good luck

Hey Jerome (ah, international keyboard not working right now), I was wondering if you had any updates on how the fan is working. I was considering something similar. I was deciding between this, and wiring up several PC fans in my scooter motor area to make sure air is at least moving (though the PC fans I suppose are going to be substantially weaker)

[I also dont know if you check comments, but hey, thought I'd ask].

Sweet captcha system by the way.
