Battle symet

Here is a other robot I made for Solarbotics instructables.  The principal is base on the “symet” robot. Symet stand for symetrical/symmetric robot. You have a single motor where the shaft rest on the ground. It moves in different directions depending of the point of contact around the shaft and the ground. In my case I use 3 wheels and one of them is motorized. When the motor is powered, the entire robot spins in circles while moving foward.

Hello–My son found your website whilst looking for a simple bot to build for a science fair project. Might you have the plans for building the same bot but using a battery instead of a solar panel? The fair is the school cafeteria with no easy access to solar light.

    Thank you.

  2. When I did my science fair with solar powered robot, I had a 100W incandescent light bulb to turn them on. There is no point of using a batterie since it’s basically pluging a motor to a batterie. No science there.
